Built to be usable.

This aims at WCAG 2.2 level AA. Below is what was actually tested and how, rather than a claim of conformance nobody measured.

last updated 17 August 2026

What was tested

  • Every text colour was checked by computing its contrast ratio against the surface it sits on, not by eye. The lightest text on this site is 4.80 to 1, above the 4.5 the standard asks for.
  • Everything you press is at least 24 pixels tall. That was measured at 375 and 430 pixels wide, which is where the small text in the navigation and the footer used to fall short at 15 and 21 pixels.
  • The whole site works with JavaScript turned off, including the terminal, which ships its output as real text in the page rather than drawing it in a script.
  • The site is keyboard operable, with a visible focus ring, a skip link, and the contact card as a real dialog so focus moves into it and escape closes it.
  • No page scrolls sideways at 375, 430, 768, 1024 or 1440 pixels wide.
  • If your system asks for reduced motion, the animations stop.

These are automated checks that run against the built site, so they keep being true rather than being true on the day someone looked.

What has not been tested

Nobody has used this site with a screen reader end to end, and no disabled person has reviewed it. Automated checks catch contrast, structure and target size; they do not tell you whether a page is actually pleasant to navigate by ear. So this page describes work done rather than a conformance claim, and I would not describe the site as audited.

If something does not work

Email sanghajasroop@gmail.com and tell me what happened and what you were using. It is a small site and I can usually fix things the same day.
